Will “ill Will” Lavin is an award-winning journalist and television pundit who has written extensively about contemporary music for the past two decades.
Born and raised in the UK, he’s interviewed everyone from Sting, Chaka Khan, Skunk Anansie and the Jacksons to Chris Brown, Mac Miller, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland. His work has been published in Rolling Stone, NME, Vibe, XXL, Complex, The Independent, Red Bulletin, Blues & Soul, Time Out, The Guardian and many others. He’s also held the positions of Managing Editor at HipHopDX and Head of Music & Lifestyle at joe.co.uk.
In addition to his written work, Will has appeared on LBC radio and BBC Radio 1Xtra and as a guest pundit on television news shows such as SKY News, BBC World News and Channel 5 News. He’s now based in Los Angeles, California.
